Program Description & Message Types
Sherwood Adventure LLC uses text messaging (SMS) to keep you informed about tournament activities and to provide customer service support. We want you to understand exactly what types of messages you will receive.
✓ Messages You WILL Receive:
Tournament Status Updates: Notifications when games are starting, delays, or schedule changes
Score Notifications: Final scores and tournament results
Event Information: Important announcements related to tournaments you're participating in
Customer Service Responses: Replies to your questions or service inquiries
Order Confirmations: Confirmation of tournament registrations or purchases
✗ Messages You Will NOT Receive:
Marketing or promotional messages
Advertising for products or services
Sales offers or discount promotions
Third-party solicitations
We do not send marketing text messages. All our text communications are operational, transactional, or customer service related.
Consent & Agreement
By providing your mobile phone number to Sherwood Adventure LLC and opting in to our text message program, you agree to the following:
You consent to receive text messages from us for the purposes described in Section 1
You understand that messages may be sent using automated technology (auto-dialer)
You confirm that you are the account holder of the number provided, or have the account holder's permission
You understand that providing consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services

Message Frequency & Timing
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on:
Tournament schedules and activity levels
Number of games or events you participate in
Customer service inquiries you initiate
Important event updates or changes
Typical frequency: During active tournaments, you may receive multiple messages per day. During non-event periods, message frequency will be minimal to none.
Message Timing
In compliance with federal regulations:
Messages are sent only between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM Arizona local time (MST)
Exceptions may occur for emergency tournament updates
Customer service responses to your inquiries may be sent outside these hours if you initiated the conversation
Data Rates & Carrier Charges
⚠️ Important: Message and data rates may apply to any text messages you receive from us. Sherwood Adventure LLC does not charge you for text messages, but your mobile carrier may apply charges depending on your service plan.
Please check with your mobile carrier to understand your plan's text messaging rates and any applicable fees. We are not responsible for any charges you incur from your carrier.
Opt-Out & Unsubscribe Instructions
You may opt out of receiving text messages from Sherwood Adventure LLC at any time. We make it easy for you to stop receiving messages.
To opt out of all future messages: STOP

In Person: Request opt-out during tournament registration or check-in
Upon receiving your opt-out request, we will promptly remove your mobile number from our text messaging lists. You will receive a confirmation message acknowledging your opt-out (unless you have requested no further contact whatsoever).
Note: Opting out of text messages will not affect your tournament participation or customer service access. You can still receive communications via email, phone, or other methods.

Mobile phone number
Name (associated with tournament registration)
Opt-in consent records (date, time, and method of consent)
Message logs for customer service purposes

What We Do NOT Do:
We do NOT sell, rent, or share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes

Arizona-Specific Compliance
Sherwood Adventure LLC operates exclusively in Arizona and complies with all applicable Arizona state laws regarding text messaging.
Arizona Laws We Comply With:
House Bill 2312: Arizona law requiring prior consent for automated communications. We obtain your consent before sending any text messages.
House Bill 2498: Arizona law extending the Do-Not-Call Registry to text messaging. We do not send text messages to phone numbers listed on the National or Arizona Do-Not-Call Registries, unless an exception applies (such as an existing business relationship for transactional messages).
Your Rights as an Arizona Resident:
You may register your phone number on the Arizona Do-Not-Call Registry
You may file complaints with the Arizona Attorney General's Office for violations
Violations of Arizona text messaging laws can result in criminal charges (Class 2 misdemeanor)
Service Availability & Limitations
Our text message service is provided "as is" and "as available." While we strive for reliable delivery, we cannot guarantee that:
All messages will be delivered successfully
Messages will be delivered instantly or within a specific timeframe
The service will be available at all times without interruption
Factors beyond our control may affect message delivery, including but not limited to: carrier network issues, phone compatibility, signal strength, message filtering, and technical difficulties.
Changes to These Terms
Sherwood Adventure LLC reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. If we make material changes, we will:

Update the "Last Updated" date below
Notify you via text message or other appropriate means if required by law
